About Us
Financial education, written to be understood
Northbridge Financial Review is an independent publisher of general financial education content. We started in 2019 with a simple goal: explain common financial concepts clearly, without jargon, sales pitches, or exaggerated claims.
Our mission
Personal finance is full of terminology that can feel intimidating — APY, amortization, cost basis, credit utilization. Our mission is to break these concepts down into plain, accurate explanations that help readers understand how their money works, so they can make more informed decisions and ask better questions of licensed professionals when they need personalized advice.
What we are — and what we aren't
We are a financial education publisher. We are not a registered investment advisor, a broker-dealer, a lender, or a law firm, and nothing we publish is personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Our articles are written for general educational purposes and should not be your only source of information for an important financial decision. Read our full disclaimer for more detail.
How we work
Every article on this site goes through a research, drafting, and editorial review process before publication, and is periodically revisited to keep information current. Full detail on our editorial standards, correction process, and how we handle any commercial relationships is available on our editorial policy page.
